Learn How To Discover Your True Identity And Uphold Your Self-Worth. Identifying who you are through the biblical text.

Studying the black presence in the Bible can open the door to discussions about racial justice and dispel the myth that the Bible is the "white man's book." It is this myth that has kept many people of color from the gospel. By whitewashing the Bible, we prevent future generations from experiencing the beauty of the biblical text.

Ethiopia is mentioned 45 times in the Bible; Egypt is mentioned, and Africa is mentioned more than any other landmass in the Bible. “Israel” occurs 2,507 times in the Hebrew text of the Old Testament. Twice “Israel” has a verb in the feminine singular form: 1 Samuel 17:21 and 2 Samuel 24:9. The word “Hebrew” occurs 40 times in the Old Testament. It means “one who passed over.” It was first used by Canaanite locals to describe Abraham in Genesis 14. The New Testament also contains ample evidence of a black presence. Acts 8 tells the story of the Ethiopian eunuch and more.

Black people should know that they have always played a central role in Elohim's plan for humanity and were not an afterthought of the creator.
